Vibration analysis is about reducing maintenance costs and improving production up-time.

  • Vibration analysis is a proven method of predictive maintenance for all rotating equipment.

  • All rotating machines vibrate and the level and pattern of that vibration tell us something about the internal condition of the rotating components.

  • Machines with faults that can result in failure will vibrate in characteristic ways and as vibration analysts it is our task to identify these faults and their cause.

  • If we measure the vibration, look for patterns and watch for change we can detect a problem early enough to act.
Eastway provide vibration analysis or ‘condition monitoring’ programmes which involves measuring vibration levels of critical machines on a regular basis in order to:
  • Establish vibration trends indicating machine condition;
  • Highlight machine deterioration and
  • Diagnose the fault, before a breakdown occurs.
